George Joseph is a commerce graduate and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He qualified the membership examination in 1981 and thereafter worked with various companies in their finance and accounting departments.

He joined KITCO Ltd., a premier consultancy organization in Kerala, India as its Financial Consultant and Company Secretary in 1984. During the tenure with KITCO, he has associated with a number of public sector undertakings for consultancy assignments. He left KITCO in early 1988 to establish his own accounting firm, G. Joseph & Associates. The firm now employs about 30 personnel with four full-time partners and two additional qualified Chartered Accountants.

George Joseph is specializing in corporate taxation and auditing, Corporate Laws and Foreign Exchange Regulations. He also concentrates in financial consultancy and has handled a number of consultancy assignments. He is closely associated with a number of corporations in the Cochin Special Economic Zone and was engaged in their formation and establishment.
