Uday holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from The University of Bombay, India and a Master's degree from the College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering at The University of Akron where he published a thesis on aircraft composites design.

Uday joined ARDL's Engineering Group in 1999 and worked as a Staff Engineer before being promoted to Business Development Manager. Uday remains active in new test development research on tires. He holds two US patents and has published over 10 scientific articles and presentations on the subjects of tires, automotive, aerospace, medical materials and predictive research.
